Growing up riding horses in the Pacific Northwest, Claire’s love of nature led her to study photography in the canyons of Northern Arizona. The moment she could, Claire moved abroad, splitting the first decade of her adult life between Paris and New York City. Swimming with dolphins, exploring active volcanoes and spending nights alone in a tent in the Sahara, Claire turns every wedding voyage into her own eye-opening adventure. For over 10 years, Claire has photographed over 100 weddings in France, Morocco, Italy, Croatia, Spain, the UK, Poland, America, Mexico, the Caribbean, Vietnam and beyond.

Culling all the best wedding inspiration from her experiences shooting abroad, Claire spent 2016-2022 offering wedding planning, fashion and travel advice as Editor-in-Chief of Bridal Musings.

Named as one of Vogue's Top 10 Wedding Blogs, Bridal Musings balances stylish inspiration with honest, helpful advice. Founded by Elizabeth Muhmood Kane in 2011, and edited for five years by Claire Eliza, Bridal Musings was born from a passion for celebrating weddings, and all the love, joy, style and creativity that comes with them.

Claire prides herself on being an inclusive wedding resource, bringing inspiration and ideas to couples of all faiths, cultures, genders, sizes and styles across the world.

Every year, Claire donates a percentage of photography proceeds to wildlife conservation charities.

Claire currently resides in Portland, Oregon with her husband Jack and Mini Aussie, Shiloh.
